BLOCK PAVING DRIVEWAYS
Block paving for driveways is a popular choice and one of our best sellers due to the almost countless different designs that can be created to suit and enhance each individual property’s appearance.
Again, the use of quality materials being laid by experienced tradesmen, and the correct preparation is required to ensure an attractive, long-lasting and hard-wearing block paved area is created lasting for a number of years.
If properly installed, block paving is easy to maintain and repair. If access underground services are ever required, the block paving can be taken up and is easy to reform by just replacing the existing blocks leaving no trace of any repair or disturbance.
TARMAC DRIVEWAYS
Tarmac driveways can be a cheaper option than block paving for a new driveway or private entrance road. Coloured kerbstones can give tarmac drives the character and enhance the appeal of the property making them attractive and a little bit different from the norm. Red tarmac driveways are also a little different and are now becoming increasingly popular with both home-owners and businesses.
Tarmac driveways are hard-wearing and quick to install but it is harder to create invisible repairs if access to underground is ever required.
With tarmac driveways, it is vital that they are laid correctly with the correct drainage and foundations. If tarmac is not laid correctly with the sufficient drainage it can end up breaking up or crumbling.
